Dr Hammond is an experienced consultant. He has consulted on treatment for adults on the autism spectrum for the National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE) and regularly runs a consultation panel for those at risk of inpatient admission for South London and Maudsley.
Consultations are offered to adults on the autism spectrum and their families who might be experiencing difficulties accessing mental health care.
Case consultations for professionals, teams and organisations are also available.
Transforming care based consultation is also available for local community teams and care commissioning groups. This might be particularly helpful if the person that you know with autism is having difficulties in the mental health system.
